What prompted Wysetek to acquire Scalezee? How does it complement your portfolio, and was this structured as a strategic acquisition, merger, or partnership?

Wysetek acquired Scalezee Technologies Pvt. Ltd. to further enhance our offerings in Open Source services. This significant move was structured as a strategic acquisition, with Scalezee transitioning to become “Scalezee – A Wysetek Company”.

The acquisition brings additional depth to our existing cloud services and open-source solutions portfolio. Scalezee’s niche expertise in DevSecOps, CloudOps, FinOps, and application modernization allows Wysetek to provide industry-leading, secure, and efficient hybrid cloud solutions to enterprise and mid-market customers, resulting in quicker time-to-market, improved reliability, and optimized costs for our customers.

How does this acquisition strengthen Wysetek’s cloud and security solutions portfolio?

The acquisition fundamentally strengthens our open-source, hybrid cloud and security solutions:

By integrating Scalezee’s open source and application modernization expertise, we can deliver end-to-end, secure, and cost-effective hybrid infrastructure solutions.

Scalezee is a specialized DevOps and cloud-native services firm, also bringing advanced capabilities in DevSecOps and CloudOps. This integrates security right into the development pipeline, which is essential for modern applications.

It enhances our depth of relationships with leading hyperscalers, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

The combined expertise is centered on providing secure, resilient, and efficient operations for IT modernization projects.

With cyber threats growing, how is the combined entity better positioned to safeguard enterprises?

The combined entity is better positioned to safeguard enterprises by merging Wysetek’s robust, long-standing expertise in managed security and our 24/7 Cyber Defence Centre (SOC) with Scalezee’s specialized capabilities in DevSecOps and cybersecurity.

The integration of Scalezee’s DevSecOps expertise is key, as it shifts security left into the application development process, making solutions inherently more secure from inception. This unified approach allows us to deliver integrated managed security services, ensuring we provide comprehensive and robust threat intelligence, incident response, and governance and compliance to secure enterprises against evolving, sophisticated threats.

We also continue to implement advanced AI threat detection and mitigation tools in our Cyber Defense Centre.

What sectors or industries do you see driving the demand for managed services in the next 2–3 years?

We anticipate the demand for managed services will be significantly driven by key verticals that are undergoing aggressive digital transformation and facing complex regulatory and security needs. Specifically, we see a continued surge in demand from:

Financial Services Industry (FSI), including Banking and Insurance: This is a key vertical for Wysetek and one where we expect to bolster our presence with the combined powers of Scalezee. The FSI needs for quicker time-to-market, optimized costs, and enhanced security are directly addressed by our new offerings.

Manufacturing, ITeS, and Pharma: These enterprise sectors, which we already serve, are increasingly adopting complex cloud and hybrid environments, driving the need for sophisticated managed IT and security services.

How does this move position Wysetek against competitors in the IT infrastructure and cloud services market?

This strategic acquisition positions Wysetek to redefine IT modernization. It gives us a distinct competitive advantage by offering a comprehensive, integrated suite of services that spans:

Legacy Infrastructure and Modernization: Our 35+ year legacy in IT infrastructure and our traditional strengths in Modern Data Centre and System Integration.

Advanced Cloud-Native Services: Scalezee’s specialization in DevSecOps, application modernization, and cloud-native technologies fills a critical gap, allowing us to deliver full-spectrum digital transformation from core IT to the most advanced cloud applications.

Secure Hybrid Cloud Focus: The ability to offer secure, resilient, and efficient hybrid cloud solutions with better cost optimization directly addresses a key customer need in the market, making us a superior partner for operationalizing excellence.

Beyond managed services, what are Wysetek’s long-term growth plans post-acquisition?

While the acquisition sets Wysetek up to drive a significant 50% expansion in IT managed services, our long-term growth plans are focused on becoming the go-to provider for end-to-end, secure, and cost-effective hybrid infrastructure solutions.

This includes:

Deepening Application Modernization: Leveraging Scalezee’s expertise to drive transformative results that allow our clients to operationalize excellence through cloud-native application management and support.

Expanding Open Source and Cloud Adoption: Continuously enhancing our rich portfolio of open-source solutions and enabling a vendor-agnostic approach to Cloud adoption for mission-critical applications.

Strategic Growth in Key Verticals: Bolstering our presence in key verticals, particularly the Financial Services sector.

Do you plan to explore international markets, or will the focus remain India-centric for now?

Wysetek already has expertise across India and the Middle East. Our immediate focus will be on integrating the new capabilities and leveraging the combined strengths to deliver robust, future-proof solutions to our enterprise and mid-market customers in these regions, with a particular emphasis on accelerating our growth within India’s booming FSI and enterprise sectors.

Are there any upcoming investments in talent, technology, or partnerships we should look out for?

Our investment strategy is centred on maximizing the potential of this strategic acquisition:

Talent: We are focused on the seamless integration of Scalezee’s specialized team, particularly their expertise in DevSecOps, CloudOps, and FinOps, to maintain unbroken continuity of customer projects and support operations.
